VOTO POR CORREO

There is a "vote-by-mail ballot" option for voting in Arizona!

You may choose to receive a mail ballot for one election or sign up for the AEVL (Active Early Voting List) to receive a mail ballot for every election.

Single election vote-by-mail process:

  • You may request a vote-by-mail ballot up to 93 days before a specific election

  • To request a vote-by-mail ballot, call Pima County Recorder's Office at (520) 724-4330

  • Ballot mailing and drop off information

Military and overseas voter information can be found here.

Sign up for every election to be vote-by-mail:

  • This process adds you to the AEVL (Active Early Voting List)

  • You can choose the AEVL vote-by-mail ballot option when you initially register to vote.

  • You can also update your registration to be on the AEVL . . .

  • Ballot mailing and drop off information

Things to note about AEVL:

  • Your ballot cannot be forwarded by USPS - be sure to update your voter registration if your address changes.

  • To be on the AEVL, you must have a mailing address in AZ.  If you would like your ballot to be mailed out-of-state, you will need to request a vote-by-mail ballot for each election (see instructions above).

  • You are not required to use your mail ballot - you can still choose to vote in person.

  • To request removal from the AEVL, you can fill out and mail in this form.

  • The AEVL is not permanent - you will be removed if you do not vote in two election cycles and you do not respond to notification from the Recorder's Office.  But don't worry, you can sign up again if you are removed!

  • You can check your registration to see if you are on the AEVL.

  • More information about AEVL can be found on the Pima County Recorder's Office AEVL webpage.
